Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: July 3, 2026

Welcome to the Quality Appliance Repair website. By accessing or using this website, submitting a request, booking service, accepting a service call, or allowing our technician to begin work, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our website or booking appliance repair service.

1. General Use

Quality Appliance Repair provides appliance repair services in Calgary and selected surrounding areas. Services may include repairs for refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, stoves, ranges, freezers, and commercial appliances, depending on the issue, location, appliance condition, and parts availability.

2. Acceptance of Service Terms

By booking a service visit, accepting a service call, approving a Service Order, or allowing our technician to begin work, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
It is your responsibility to review these Terms before service begins. Allowing a technician to inspect, diagnose, move, access, or work on an appliance constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

3. Use of Website

You agree to use this website for lawful purposes only. You may not submit false information, misuse website content, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with website security, or disrupt the operation of the website.
All website content, including text, images, graphics, logos, icons, design elements, and layouts, belongs to Quality Appliance Repair or is used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or use website content for commercial purposes without written consent.

4. Call Recording

Calls to or from Quality Appliance Repair may be recorded for quality control, training, customer service, and dispute resolution purposes. By contacting us by phone, you consent to call recording where permitted by law.
We take reasonable steps to protect customer information collected through phone calls and other communications.

5. Booking and Availability

Submitting a form or booking request does not guarantee an appointment, same-day service, repair completion, part availability, or a specific technician arrival time.
Availability depends on schedule, service area, appliance type, access to the property, required parts, weather, traffic, customer responsiveness, and other factors outside our control.
We may contact you by phone, email, or text message to confirm service details, request additional information, and schedule or update an appointment.
Office visits are by appointment only. Please call, email, or submit a request before visiting our location.

6. Call-Out Fee, Diagnosis, and Pricing

Website information is not a substitute for an in-person diagnosis. A technician must inspect the appliance before confirming the issue, recommended repair, and expected cost.
A call-out fee applies to non-warranty service visits and will be quoted before the appointment. Our current standard call-out fee is $139, unless otherwise quoted or agreed at the time of booking. This fee covers travel and diagnostic time.
The call-out fee is non-refundable once the technician attends the property, whether or not you approve the recommended repair. If you approve an eligible repair during the visit, the call-out fee may be credited toward the repair cost, unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
Final pricing may depend on appliance condition, labour, parts, model type, accessibility, scope of work, and any additional issues found during diagnosis.

7. Promotions and Discounts

Diagnostic fees, call-out fees, promotions, discounts, coupons, and special offers may have specific terms, expiry dates, service areas, appliance types, minimum repair values, and other limitations.
Promotions cannot always be combined unless specifically stated. Offers should be confirmed at the time of booking.
Quality Appliance Repair may update, change, extend, or cancel promotions at any time.

8. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods may include debit card, credit card, or other approved payment options. If a payment is declined, dishonoured, reversed, or remains unpaid, the customer agrees to pay the outstanding amount and any reasonable collection costs, processing fees, legal fees, or other costs permitted by law.
Quality Appliance Repair may refuse further service until outstanding balances are paid in full.

9. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact information, service address, appliance details, and a clear description of the issue.
Customers are also responsible for:

  • Providing safe and clear access to the appliance
  • Ensuring an authorized adult is present when required
  • Securing pets and children away from the work area
  • Removing personal items around the appliance where possible
  • Informing us of parking, access, elevator, building, or security requirements
  • Providing model and serial numbers if available
  • Maintaining plumbing, electrical, ventilation, drainage, and property conditions related to the appliance
  • Quality Appliance Repair may be unable to complete service if access is unsafe, restricted, incomplete, or unsuitable.
10. Parts and Repairs

Replacement parts may not always be available immediately. Availability depends on appliance brand, model, age, supplier inventory, manufacturer delays, discontinued parts, and other factors outside our control.
We do not guarantee that every appliance can be repaired or that parts will be available for every model.
Some repairs may require ordering parts, scheduling a return visit, or recommending replacement instead of repair.

11. Warranty

Warranty terms vary depending on the repair, parts used, appliance condition, manufacturer limitations, and service details. Warranty coverage will be explained when applicable.
For repairs, parts, and services provided directly by Quality Appliance Repair, warranty coverage may range up to 12 months on most eligible repairs. Some items and repair types may be excluded. Warranty claims are subject to inspection and approval by Quality Appliance Repair.
If Quality Appliance Repair is contracted for a manufacturer warranty visit, warranty terms may be determined by the manufacturer. Any warranty concerns related to manufacturer-covered service may need to be directed to the manufacturer.
Warranty may not apply to:

  • New or unrelated issues after service
  • Pre-existing appliance conditions
  • Customer misuse, improper use, or lack of maintenance
  • Electrical, plumbing, water supply, drainage, ventilation, or property-related problems
  • Cosmetic or non-functional parts, including glass, trim, knobs, racks, shelves, panels, doors, baskets, or similar components
  • Commercial or industrial use, unless specifically covered in writing
  • Appliances moved from the original service location after repair
  • Appliances modified, tampered with, or repaired by another party after service
  • Repairs where parts are discontinued or unavailable
  • Repairs where the invoice has not been paid in full

Quality Appliance Repair’s obligation for approved warranty claims may be limited to reinspection, replacement of defective parts or workmanship, or a refund of amounts paid for the affected service, at our discretion and where permitted by law.

12. Appliance Access and Moving Risks

Some appliances may need to be moved or accessed to diagnose or complete service. Moving appliances can create risk of damage to the appliance, flooring, cabinetry, countertops, walls, connections, or surrounding areas.
The technician is not required to move an appliance if access is unsafe or unsuitable. If you allow the technician to move or access the appliance, you accept the related risks unless damage is caused by clearly proven negligence.
Customers are responsible for ensuring the work area is accessible and reasonably protected before the appointment.

13. Water and Plumbing Risks

Some appliances are connected to water lines, drains, hoses, shut-off valves, or plumbing systems. Service work may involve risk of leaks, drainage problems, flooding, or water-related damage.
Customers are responsible for maintaining plumbing, shut-off valves, water supply lines, drainage, and property conditions related to the appliance.
Quality Appliance Repair is not responsible for water damage caused by pre-existing plumbing issues, failed hoses, shut-off valve problems, blocked drains, poor installation, building conditions, or component failure outside our control, except where required by law.

14. Cooling Equipment and Product Loss

Refrigerators, freezers, and commercial refrigeration equipment can fail without warning. Diagnosis and repair may not always be immediate or successful, especially when parts are delayed, discontinued, or unavailable.
Quality Appliance Repair is not responsible for food spoilage, product loss, business interruption, lost revenue, cancelled events, customer inconvenience, or other indirect losses related to cooling equipment failure, delayed service, unavailable parts, or repair outcomes, except where required by law.
Customers are responsible for protecting food, products, inventory, and temperature-sensitive items when cooling equipment is not working properly.

15. Glass and Ceramic Cooktop Risk

Glass or ceramic cooktops may need to be lifted or accessed during service. These surfaces can crack, chip, or break during removal or inspection, especially when secured with adhesive, affected by age, previously damaged, or under tension.
By approving this work, you accept the related risk unless damage is caused by clearly proven negligence.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quality Appliance Repair is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages related to website use, reliance on website information, service delays, unavailable parts, appliance failure, repair outcomes, third-party links, or circumstances outside our control.
Quality Appliance Repair’s liability for any service-related claim is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the service giving rise to the claim, except where such limitation is not permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.

17. Website Content and Third-Party Links

We make reasonable efforts to keep website content accurate and up to date. However, we do not guarantee that all information, pricing, promotions, service details, warranty details, or availability are complete, current, or error-free.
Quality Appliance Repair may update or remove website content at any time without prior notice.
This website may include links to third-party platforms, maps, booking tools, review sites, payment processors, or social media pages. We are not responsible for their content, security, privacy practices, accuracy, or availability.

18. Privacy

Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By submitting information through the website, phone, email, text, or booking form, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in that policy.

19. Changes to Terms

Quality Appliance Repair may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
Continued use of the website or booking service after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

20. Governing Law
